Job summary

voco Zeal Exeter Science Park is seeking a Commis Chef to deliver our brand standards in a busy kitchen. You will work with the kitchen team to ensure high-quality dining experiences for guests, staying calm under pressure and contributing to a collaborative team environment.

The role emphasises sustainability with Carbon Literate training and ongoing development through apprenticeships and brand training, plus monthly and annual team awards to recognise achievements.

£12.71 per hour. 38 hours per week across 5 days.

We're looking for a talented Commis Chef who's passionate about consistently delivering our brand standards in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

The Role

You'll work in a clean, efficient and organised way, staying calm under pressure and bringing genuine team spirit to every shift. Working closely with our kitchen team, you'll help deliver dining experiences that leave guests yearning for more.

We expect everyone on the team to understand the impact of their actions on the environment, contribute to reducing emissions, and bring their own ideas to the table. Working Hours

We're open 7 days a week, 365 days a year, so we need team members who can work flexibly across a range of shifts and days. We're generally busiest in the evenings and at weekends, but shift patterns and contracted hours can all be discussed at interview.
