The Clermont Victoria in London is seeking a Commis Chef to join our busy kitchen. The role offers flexible contracts and an hourly rate of £13.25 plus tronc. You will assist in preparing and presenting dishes, uphold high standards of quality, and follow health and safety guidelines.

We welcome applicants who are enthusiastic, eager to learn, and able to work well in a collaborative kitchen, delivering great service to our guests in a luxury hotel setting.

The Clermont Victoria is a stunning city centre venue close to many of London's famous landmarks and on the periphery of the busiest train station in Europe. This 345 bedroom hotel has recently undergone a £20m transformation and is a luxury 4 star deluxe hotel.

What you’ll be doing

In our kitchens, we believe that delicious food served in a welcoming atmosphere is key to a memorable dining experience. As a Commis Chef, you will play an essential role in preparing and delivering a diverse range of appetizing dishes that enhance our guests' experiences.

• Assist in the preparation and presentation of a variety of dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation in a casual dining setting.
• Maintain a focus on quality, with meticulous attention to detail in every dish.
• Follow and adhere to all Health & Safety and Food Hygiene regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for the team.
• Bring enthusiasm and a willingness to learn from experienced chefs, gaining exposure to different cooking techniques and styles.
