Salary: GBP26,000

Contract Type: Full Time / Permanent / Monday - Friday

As a Commis Chef at Trust Alliance Group, you'll play a key role in supporting our catering operations, ensuring food production meets our standards for quality, hygiene, and inclusivity. Whether you're crafting daily menus, preparing meals with care, or ensuring compliance with allergen regulations, you'll be central to delivering a service that supports our people and our values. This is the perfect role for someone who brings both flair and discipline to the kitchen, and who takes pride in consistently delivering excellent food.



What You'll Be Doing:

Preparing and producing a variety of meals, considering all dietary needs and preferences.
Supporting menu planning and promotions, bringing creativity and seasonal awareness.
Maintaining food hygiene and safety standards in line with regulations and Natasha's Law.
Working closely with the kitchen team to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.
Assisting with stock control and inventory management.
Ensuring the kitchen environment is clean, compliant, and environmentally conscious.
Covering other roles within the catering department when required.
Reporting any kitchen equipment faults or hazards through the appropriate channels.

What We're Looking for:

A recognised qualification such as NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Hospitality and Catering (beneficial).
Certified in Food Safety at Level 2 or 3, with a strong understanding of best practices (beneficial).
Confident in managing allergens safely and demonstrating proper knife handling techniques.
A solid understanding of food hygiene regulations and a mindful approach to sustainability in the kitchen.
Hands-on chef experience is beneficial but not essential.
