Job summary

Marston’s PLC is looking for a Commis Chef to join our pub team. You’ll prep, create and bring our menu to life, learning new prep skills and owning a section of the kitchen.

We’ll support your career path through our internal DNA framework with the goal of progressing to Sous Chef. Enjoy benefits including staff discounts, flexible hours and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar chef role or an experienced KP.
• Willing to learn about kitchen areas and procedures.
• Able to work within a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion to deliver great, hot food to spec.

Responsibilities

• Prep and create dishes to bring the pub menu to life.
• Support the kitchen team with day-to-day running and keep sections organized.
• Develop skills and progress toward a Sous Chef role through the internal pathway.
