Harrods in Knightsbridge is looking for a Pastry Commis Chef to join our award-winning pastry team. You will prep patisserie and baked goods, organise ingredients and keep the kitchen clean, reporting to the Chef de Partie.

This on-site role requires flexibility across 5 of 7 days. You should have some time in a professional pastry environment, ideally within a 5★ hotel, artisan bakery or fine-dining setting, with strong time-management and meticulous attention to detail.

As a Pastry Commis Chef you will be joining a passionate, supportive, and award-winning pastry team, all within our iconic Knightsbridge store. **About the Role** As the Commis Chef in our Pastry kitchen, you’ll be at the heart of the action, preparing all kinds of patisserie and baked goods, organising ingredients, and keeping the kitchen clean. Reporting into the Chef de Partie, you’ll be a key member of the team, whose role is integral to the smooth operation and delivery of the Kitchen operations. You’ll be responsible for the organisation, stock rotation and labelling of food stored ensuring that all administration for own section is completed and complies with the deadlines set. In this role, you’ll guarantee that Food Safety standards are adhered to by enforcing the high standard of hygiene and sanitation in all food-related outlets. This role is fully on site, working 5 out of the 7 days a week. You'll need to have some time spent in a professional pastry kitchen, ideally within a 5\\* hotel, artisan bakery or fine-dining restaurant environment. In return you'll be given all the training and support you'll need to become one of our Masters at Harrods within our pastry brigade. You’ll have great time-management skills and a strong customer focus when dealing with both internal and external parties.
