Job Introduction

Are you passionate about great food and eager to build your culinary career in a supportive, professional kitchen? We're looking fordedicated Commis Chefs to join our team, working Monday to Friday, giving you your weekends free to enjoy life outside the kitchen!

In this role, you'll help maintain our high standards, support the kitchen in all areas, and deliver delicious, high-quality dishes that meet our company's expectations. You'll play a key part in upholding food safety and health & safety systems, ensuring every plate that leaves the pass reflects our commitment to excellence.

What you'll do:

  • Deliver high-quality food service daily, following agreed standards, recipes, and procedures set by senior chefs.
  • Support the smooth running of the kitchen, maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and safety at all times.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, food safety, and health & safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively through handovers, meetings, and teamwork to maintain consistent service and standards.
  • Manage production volumes and waste responsibly while upholding presentation and quality expectations.

What you bring:

  • Strong communication skills with a positive, self-motivated attitude.
  • Organised and proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Passion for cooking and developing as a chef.
  • Ability to follow and interpret recipes accurately from senior chefs or development teams.
  • Experience in standards or compliance environments, with good customer focus and basic IT skills (C&G 7061/7062 or equivalent desirable).
