Be part of something extraordinary! Join us for the opening of our iconic 5-star hotel at 100 Princes Street in Edinburgh, Scotland.

We are looking for a Commis Chef. This is a full-time role and will report to the Senior Chef de Partie and Head Chef.

Working pattern: Shift work / Monday to Sunday / 5 days per week with 2 days off / rotas are prepared weekly.

Requirements: Previous experience in a similar culinary hotel environment.

As a Commis Chef, your responsibilities will include:

  • Cooking and preparing high-quality menu items in a timely manner
  • Completing mise-en-place for your section
  • Ensuring ingredients are of the highest quality and staying updated with new products, recipes, and techniques
  • Informing the Head Chef of excess food items for daily specials
  • Operating kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
  • Preparing fresh ingredients according to recipes and menus
  • Supporting the Senior Chef de Partie in daily operations
