Job summary

Marston's PLC is seeking a Commis Chef to join our pub kitchen teams across the UK. You will prep, create and bring our pub menu to life, learning new prepping skills and owning a section of the kitchen.

The role offers progression through our DNA pathway toward Sous Chef, a supportive team, and benefits including staff discounts, flexible hours and apprenticeship programmes. Come as you are and contribute to great, hot food.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Chef role or an experienced KP.
• Know or be willing to learn about the kitchen areas and procedures.
• Work within a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Help to support the kitchen team with the day to day running of the kitchen.
• Have a passion to deliver great, hot food to spec each and every time.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items as directed by senior chefs.
• Assist with prep work to ensure smooth service.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the kitchen.
• Support the kitchen team with stock, mise en place and rotation.
• Contribute to a positive and efficient kitchen environment.
