We are looking for a Commis Chef to join our team at Cheddar Woods Resort and Spa in Axbridge, Somerset

This is a Seasonal position to work full time hours. This will be 40 hours across variable days which will include evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

About The Role

Main responsibilities:

The successful Commis Chef / Kitchen Porter will

· Ensure that all preparation and presentation of food is in line with the company’s high standards.

· Ensure that all stock rotation is accurate and effective.

· Comply with all food hygiene regulations at all times.

· Help with pot washing.

· Assist with collecting tableware and plates within the restaurant area.

Requirements:

Similar previous experience is desired. Catering qualifications are an advantage but not essential. A driving licence would be an advantage to enable ease of travel to and from the resort.
