Job Opportunity: Commis Chef at The 5* Merchant Hotel, Belfast

The 5* Merchant Hotel in Belfast, located in the historic Cathedral Quarter, offers a blend of Victorian grandeur and Art Deco modernity. We are seeking an ambitious and passionate Commis Chef to join our talented kitchen brigade.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, hygiene, and tidiness in all kitchen areas.
  • Work in a busy environment preparing award-winning cuisine from fresh, seasonal produce.
Schedule

This position includes evening and weekend shifts.

Essential Criteria
  • Fully flexible to work evenings and weekends.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role.
Desirable Criteria
  • NVQ Level 2 in a kitchen/food-related discipline or working towards it.
