I joined as a server on the catering staff. Thanks to Hyatt's training and support, I now oversee a brilliant team that helps bring events to life.

Park Hyatt London River Thames offers 203 luxurious rooms, including a presidential suite and two signature mega-suites, with stunning views of the River Thames and central London. Nestled in a convenient location in the heart of the city, the hotel features exquisite dining options across two restaurants and two bar outlets, state-of-the-art event spaces, and a serene spa and wellness floor. Alongside our hotel offering, we are also in the process of launching a unique residential experience, creating a dynamic and evolving luxury environment for longer-staying guests.

Duties and Responsibilities for the Commis Baker Role

• Understand and efficiently operate bakery machinery and equipment.
• Consistently produce baked goods that meet the hotel's high-quality standards.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring proper stock rotation.
• Perform tasks as directed by senior bakers, such as the Head Baker, to assist in preparation.
• Help receive, check, and store deliveries of fresh food and supplies.
• Work effectively as part of a team to ensure smooth bakery operations.

About You

You have a genuine interest in culinary operations and demonstrate a strong willingness to learn while actively supporting the kitchen team. You possess a foundational understanding of food preparation techniques and are committed to maintaining food safety and hygiene standards.

Flexibility is important, as some shifts may start as early as 4:00 AM. This role requires a dynamic combination of creativity, leadership, and teamwork.
