Job description

Are you an experienced Commercial Workshop (Director) looking for an exciting new challenge? HCL Fleet Services is a new commercial HGV workshop based in Croydon, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and the only HGV brake tester available to the public in the area. We are seeking a Commercial Workshop Director to join our team and help us achieve our goals.

About the Role
  1. Report to the Managing Director and create an environment where teams and individuals are motivated and aligned with the company's strategy.
  2. Ensure all work complies with safety, legal standards, and relevant legislation, including FORS.
  3. Achieve monthly productivity targets, maintain high customer service standards, and develop strong local customer relationships.
  4. Manage stock control, workshop maintenance, and employee management.
Candidate Requirements
  1. Strong knowledge of fleet maintenance and workshop management.
  2. Understanding of H&S fundamentals in workshops and transport compliance legislation.
  3. Excellent customer relationship management skills.
  4. Proficiency in using technology to enhance performance.
  5. Ability to motivate and coach technicians to meet productivity targets and maintain high standards under pressure.
