Qualifications

• Previous working experience within an HGV Technician / LCV Fitter role.
• Fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• A Class 1/ 7.5T Licence preferable.

• Completion of Job Sheets and Documentation.
• Maintaining efficiency in the Workshop – following safety procedures.

Job description

We are currently seeking a Commercial Vehicle Technician (HGV/LCV Technician) on behalf of our Client; an Automotive well-equipped Workshop, based in the Motherwell area.

You can expect a salary of up to £37,315 with OTE of circa £50,000.

Duties:

- Servicing, repair and Maintenance of HGVs or LCVs
- Completion of Job Sheets and Documentation
- Liaising with the Service Department and Parts Department
- Completion of MOT preparation
- Vehicle Inspection
- Maintaining efficiency in the Workshop – following safety procedures.

Requirements:

- Previous working experience within a HGV Technician / LCV Fitter role
- Fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
- Excellent mechanical knowledge
- A Class 1/ 7.5T Licence preferable.
- Must have Right to Work in the UK.

Hours of work for this Commercial Vehicle Technician job are on a specific shift pattern timetable: Week 1: 07:30 – 16:00, Week 2: 12:30 – 20:00 and Saturdays (when required); Paid at 2x rate after 12:00!
