Job description

Commercial Vehicle Technician needed in North London. Paying £38,058 per annum. Ref 1520054

Full-time hours on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

1. Vehicle Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of commercial vehicles, ensuring they are safe and roadworthy.
2. Diagnostics: Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
3. Fleet and Equipment Repair: Repair vehicle fleet, plant, and equipment in accordance with legal regulations, lease companies, and manufacturers’ standards and targets.
4. Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to clients, explaining repairs and maintenance clearly and professionally.
5. Compliance: Ensure all work meets industry standards and regulatory requirements.
6. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other technicians and team members to ensure a smooth workflow and high-quality service.

Role Specifics:

• Support Workshop Manager: The Commercial Vehicle Technician (Level 3) supports the Workshop Manager by maintaining the fleet, including third-party and plant maintenance processes, ensuring tasks are completed effectively to meet service obligations in a timely and cost-effective manner.
