Job Description:

Night Shift LCV/HGV Technician Needed in Worcestershire

• Location: Kidderminster
• Salary: Earnings in excess of £42,000, including shift allowance
• Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Thursday nights

Main Duties and Responsibilities as a Commercial Vehicle Technician:

• Perform major and minor repairs on vehicles.
• Conduct regular inspections and general preventive maintenance services such as tyre rotations and oil changes.
• Maintain workshop inventory and ensure cleanliness from oil spills and dust.
• Work with repair teams to diagnose and plan vehicle repairs.
• Maintain records of vehicles that have been repaired or serviced.
• Provide repair services to clients on the road in case of emergencies.
• Complete relevant documentation and paperwork as required, including warranty claims.
• Provide in-house training to recruits and trainees.

What’s Required from you as a Commercial Vehicle Technician?

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle or Light Vehicle Maintenance.
• Previous working experience as an LCV or HGV technician with a strong technical background.
• Confidence in using technology.
• Excellent interpersonal abilities.
