Commercial Commercial Manager

Our client, a franchised Motor Dealer, is looking to recruit an experienced Commercial Vehicle Sales Manager for one of their dealerships in the Staffordshire Area.

This is a well-established and fast-moving sales operation. The importance of this appointment means that previous experience within Commercial Sales Management or as a Commercial Sales Executive is essential for this role.

The Role:
  1. Develop sales and marketing plans and budgets to achieve agreed financial, marketing, and sales targets.
  2. Organise, direct, and control the activities of sales staff and administrative support to achieve plans and budgets, ensuring optimum use of all material, financial, and personnel resources.
  3. Promote and nurture a customer care culture, delivering care levels consistent with the company's expectations.
The Person:

This is a very hands-on role, and the person appointed will:

  • Have an outstanding record of sales achievement.
  • Be a motivator, capable of leading, developing, mentoring, and coaching a team.
  • Be highly organised to ensure adherence to all company disciplines, procedures, and reporting analysis.
  • Have an understanding of database management and its potential to market and drive the business forward.
  • Be able to provide outstanding customer service with excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Have a sound understanding of F & I opportunities, market trends, and dealership initiatives.

You must be motivated by job satisfaction and the desire to achieve outstanding results. You will also be able to generate a strong and enthusiastic team spirit and encourage total commitment to high performance.

A clear understanding of the key drivers—financial and customer satisfaction—is essential.

A competitive salary package will be available to the right candidate.
