Chartered Surveyor - Commercial Valuations (Oxford)

£40k-£45k base plus car

We have an exciting growth opportunity for an experienced RICS Registered Valuer to join a Commercial Valuations team in Oxford as a Chartered Surveyor.

This valuations team collaborates with a diverse range of clients, including private sector firms, major clearing banks, developers, landed estates, and solicitors across Oxfordshire. As a Valuations Surveyor, you will play a key role in expanding their asset valuations business while strengthening relationships with both existing and new clients. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of the valuations team by mentoring and training junior members.

As a growing and ambitious business, my client seeks an enthusiastic individual who can establish themselves and significantly contribute to the ongoing success of our valuations department.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Work within the existing Oxford-based valuation team, delivering valuations for financial reporting, loan security, and other valuation needs.
2. Conduct inspections, calculate floor and site areas, and perform comparable research.
3. Undertake demographic and economic research, planning and statutory enquiries, and company trading analysis.
4. Review leases, development/option agreements, and other relevant documents.
5. Prepare valuations and development appraisals.
6. Identify and contribute to new business opportunities in the commercial valuation sector.
