Overview

Commercial Underwriting Team Manager – London – Competitive salary and bonus (depending on experience). Ready to take your insurance management career to the next level? We’re looking for a Mid-Market Commercial Underwriting Team Manager to lead a dynamic and high-performing team. You will be based in Central London, managing a home-based team located across Kent and Sussex, with brokers also concentrated in these areas. Regular travel to the South East will be required to support your team and broker relationships effectively.

Skills and experience we’re looking for
  • Leadership & People Skills: You’re a natural leader who can inspire, communicate clearly, listen actively, and negotiate effectively.
  • Insurance Experience: We’re looking for someone with a background leading teams within Insurance – an Underwriting background would be our preference, but other sector disciplines will be considered.
  • Industry Connections: Your relationships in the market are top-notch, and you know how to leverage them.
  • Analytical & Presentation Skills: You can analyse risk and present solutions to brokers and clients with confidence.
  • Love of Learning: You’re always curious, eager to learn, and excited to improve and grow both personally and professionally.
