Your role as a Property, Packages & Liability (PPL) Underwriter involves working with selected brokers to optimize profitable growth from these accounts. You will apply a range of underwriting, relationship management, and business development techniques.

This role applies to both new and existing business within our agreed process and risk appetite. You will spend most of your time working with your broker panel to identify, discuss, negotiate, and convert new and existing business opportunities, making effective underwriting decisions.

Typically, you will handle cases with premiums ranging from £15,000 to £100,000.

About You

To succeed, you should ideally have experience in the property or liability/casualty market, with a background in insurance or broking. We also consider candidates with insurance experience in other lines of business or related fields such as claims or customer service.

This position offers an opportunity to start your career in insurance and is suitable for someone with strong customer and relationship skills.
