A leading automotive service provider in Felixstowe is looking for an experienced Commercial Vehicle Tyre Fitter. The role involves fitting and repairing tyres for various vehicles, providing exceptional customer service, and completing relevant paperwork. A full driving licence and experience in a similar role are required. Competitive salary of £29,000 per annum plus bonus and excellent benefits including discounts and a pension scheme.

Qualifications

• Must possess a full, current driving licence.
• Hold RTRT and/or LCTT licences or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Commercial Tyre Technician or similar.
• Willing and able to work with heavy machinery and equipment in an outdoor environment.

Responsibilities

• Fit and repair tyres including for cars, vans, trucks, and more.
• Provide exceptional customer service experience.
• Complete all relevant paperwork and electronic job sheets.
• Undertake terminal tractor & trailer training and assessment.

Skills

Full current driving licence

RTRT and/or LCTT licences

• Fit/repair tyres including car, van, truck, agricultural, industrial and earthmover - all within depot

• Terminal tractor & trailer training and assessment (IMV) - up to 6 months to gain qualification
