Chartered Commercial Surveyor – Valuation & Advisory

Location: Edinburgh

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience + bonus + benefits

Level: Surveyor to Senior Surveyor

A well-established and respected property consultancy in Edinburgh is looking to appoint a Chartered Commercial Surveyor to support the continued growth of their Valuation & Advisory services. With a strong local presence, long-standing client relationships, and a consistent pipeline of commercial instructions, this is an excellent opportunity for a driven Surveyor ready to take the next step or an experienced professional looking to step into a leadership pathway.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake RICS Red Book Valuations across a range of commercial asset types, including office, industrial, retail, and mixed-use
• Deliver strategic consultancy advice to a broad client base including lenders, investors, and occupiers
• Support lease advisory work including rent reviews, lease renewals, and lease restructures
• Manage your own client portfolio with professionalism, integrity, and commercial awareness
• Contribute to team development and, where appropriate, mentor junior team members

Candidate Requirements:

• MRICS qualified (essential)
• RICS Registered Valuer (essential)
• Strong understanding of the Scottish commercial property market, particularly Edinburgh and the Central Belt
• Experience in commercial valuation and/or lease advisory Strong communication, reporting, and client-facing skills
