Commercial Supply Chain Manager - Oxford

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support management and delivery of the global commercial supply chain logistics, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery to distributors, hospitals, and patients.
  2. Develop and manage global supply planning and scheduling for various regions including Canada, Switzerland, UK, Singapore, Australia, Brazil, Germany, France, Spain, and Nordics.
  3. Collaborate with supply chain, manufacturing, and commercial teams to optimize processes.
  4. Work closely with third-party logistics providers and external manufacturing partners.
  5. Develop supply options, facilitate decision-making, and communicate plans to stakeholders.
  6. Manage supply chain validation projects, artwork design, and regulatory compliance.
  7. Implement inventory management policies and develop KPIs for supply chain performance.
  8. Coordinate demand forecasting, inventory movements, and reconciliation.
  9. Support regulatory submissions and compliance documentation.
  10. Contribute to distribution activities and ensure adherence to Good Distribution Practices.
Person Specification

Experience and Knowledge

  • 5-10 years of progressive supply chain management experience in pharmaceutical or biological products.
  • Experience with supply planning, procurement, and working with 3PL and external manufacturing partners.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and international customs regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of finance and budgeting.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills.

Desirable

  • Experience contributing to regulatory modules and project management.
Education & Qualifications
  • Essential: BSc. or MSc. in business, supply chain operations, or a related discipline.
  • Desirable: PhD in a related discipline.
