Job summary

Kenvue is recruiting for Commercial Student Placements based at Reading with hybrid working. The role runs from June 2027 to July 2028 and involves supporting the Commercial team in handling retailer relationships, pricing strategy and sales targets.

You will gain experience in account management, plan creation with retailers, and cross-functional collaboration with Marketing and Supply Chain teams, developing strategic and analytical capabilities in a global consumer goods environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of degree level study completed.
• Minimum 2:1 achieved in first year of study.
• Business-related degree or evidenced experience/interest.

Responsibilities

• Regular store visits and reporting of sales figures.
• Taking ownership of specific brands or areas and acting as day-to-day contact.
• Support customer and buyer conversations and build pro-commercial proposals.
• Collaborate with Shopper Marketing to create effective point-of-sale material.
• Monitor stock levels, availability and promotional performance during events.
• Support execution of promotions and new product launches.
• Contribute to strategies for each brand with the Marketing team.
• Work cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Shopper, Category and Marketing teams.
• Present recommendations and insights to stakeholders.
• Participate in forecasting and trade investment planning.
