Overview

Commercial Sprinkler Installation Engineer - London. Salary/Package - £45,000 - £47,000 Basic + Benefits. Location - London. Permanent Position. My client is a leading fire sprinkler contractor based in the South East who deliver sprinkler system installation & maintenance to commercial, industrial, and residential clients across London. With a strong reputation within the industry they are looking to add 2 x new commercial sprinkler installation engineers to their team.

The Role

As a Commercial Sprinkler Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, testing, and commissioning of sprinkler systems in line with LPCB, BS EN12845, and NFPA standards.

You will work on projects ranging from office buildings and warehouses to retail and residential developments, ensuring all systems are installed to the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and commission sprinkler systems on commercial projects across the UK.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to deliver installations to LPCB and BS EN12845 standards.
• Work closely with project managers, site supervisors, and clients to ensure smooth delivery.
• Conduct inspections and troubleshooting during and after installation.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health & safety and fire safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Commercial Sprinkler Installation Engineer, (Steel Pipe) ideally within the commercial sector.
• In-depth knowledge of LPCB, BS EN12845, and related fire safety standards.
• Strong understanding of pipefitting and mechanical systems.
• CSCS card required; IPAF and PASMA certifications desirable.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
