Life on the team

Due to growth in our operations, we are looking for a Commercial Specialist to join the Field & On-Site Services (FOS) Commercial Operations Team. The role involves supporting our programme to reduce costs and standardise charging approaches.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, your responsibilities will include ownership and governance of INVEST processes and the SHARED services structure, focusing on cross-charging accuracy, utilisation reporting, analysis, and insight. You will also assist with financial performance analysis, forecasting, and governance support related to Change to Service (CTS) and cross-charging.

Our scope covers global Field & On-Site Services Operations, with a flexible hybrid working policy requiring at least 40% office presence every fortnight, aligned to your chosen office location.

What you’ll do

  • Support the Commercial Operations in managing the FOS Cost Collector structure & process (Invest, Shared, Dedicated).
  • Ensure customer contract charges are accurate and compliant with policies.
  • Manage CTS x-charging changes within the monthly processes.
  • Advise operations teams on commercial matters across our regions.
  • Assist in improving cost efficiency through system and process improvements.
  • Contribute to financial planning, review, and forecasting activities.
  • Support FOS change programmes and growth strategies, including x-charging policies.
  • Help harmonise and simplify x-charging mechanisms.
  • Develop reporting to monitor and improve performance.

Coordinate with stakeholders across the company and FOS.

  • Oversee monthly x-charging activities with Business Support and Finance teams.
  • Identify and validate changes to cross-charges due to in-life adjustments.
  • Collaborate on month-end reporting with Group Commercial Finance.
  • Assist with monthly forecasts and highlight risks/opportunities.

What you’ll need

  • Understanding of financial processes and basic accounting.
  • Strong communication skills in English; German language skills are a plus.
  • Knowledge of services outsourcing principles is advantageous.
  • Ability to build relationships across teams.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
