Job Description:

Our client is seeking an In-house Legal Counsel / Commercial Lawyer to join their highly regarded legal team. This role involves drafting and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts and agreements, as well as advising the business on various legal matters.

The client is based in Berkshire but offers flexibility with hybrid working arrangements. The successful candidate will initially spend 1-3 months in Berkshire (costs covered by the company), after which they will work on a hybrid basis from Manchester.

The key responsibilities include managing day-to-day legal issues faced by the business, drafting and negotiating contracts, and providing legal advice to support business operations.

Ideal candidates will have strong experience in commercial contracts law, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholder expectations. A UK-qualified solicitor with 2-4 years PQE is preferred. In-house experience is desirable but not essential; private practice lawyers with strong commercial skills are also encouraged to apply.

Our client considers candidates with experience outside the 2-4 years PQE range if they demonstrate relevant skills and knowledge.
