Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Solicitor to join a successful and busy practice based in Leeds City Centre. This is an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor who is looking to handle high calibre Commercial work.

Our client is a well-established, top 45 law firm with a strong reputation in the Leeds market and an enviable client base in the region. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside an experienced and respectable team, assisting partners and other Solicitors on a various range of commercial work.

This will involve working on commercial contracts, intellectual property, data protection, competition law, procurement and state aid, and strategically supporting supply chain management to name a few areas. The team advises on a range of projects some on a large scale and have particular expertise in IT, joint ventures, collaboration and partnership agreements, public-private projects and franchising. There will be lots of opportunity for client contact and you will get really stuck in from the start in building those day-to-day business relationships.

The successful candidate will be forward thinking, commercially minded and someone who can build strong relationships with clients. The firm believes this role will suit a candidate who is 5+ years PQE but this is just a guideline and candidates that fall outside of this bracket are encouraged to apply. Public sector experience is desirable but certainly isn't essential for the role.
