Job summary

Good Energy Group is seeking a Commercial Solar PV Electrician in Glasgow to join our field-based Solar Team. You will install solar panels, battery storage, and perform electrical work on commercial properties across the UK.

You’ll work with a supportive team to ensure safety, quality, and on-schedule delivery. Applicants should have solid installation experience, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Experience with solar PV installations on commercial sites.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.
• Strong health and safety discipline for on-site work.
• Comfort with UK travel and client communication.

Responsibilities

• Install solar panels and battery storage systems on commercial sites.
• Perform general electrical work as required.
• Coordinate materials and logistics with office team.

As a key member of our installation team, you’ll be responsible for completing a mixture of solar panel installations, battery storage, as well as general electrical work on commercial properties.

With excellent communication skills, you’ll collaborate closely with the team to ensure that all installations meet our high standards for quality and safety. You’ll also be the key point of contact for customers, ensuring their questions are answered and they are kept informed throughout the process.

Your base of Operations

Your base of Operations: Office, warehouse, and beyond

Our head office is in Chippenham, Wiltshire, with additional offices and warehouses in Lincoln, Ringwood (Hampshire), Glasgow and Kent. For this role, we’re looking for candidates based in the Glasgow area. The position will involve some travel, including occasional overnight stays.

Our working hours are 40 a week, Monday - Friday.
