VANRATH are assisting with the recruitment of a Meat Sales Executive for a major company that specialises in Supply, Distribution and Food Manufacturing.

This is a Full-time position.

Permanent position - Monday - Friday - Position of work is Ballymena.

Salary:

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide sales support and cover for the sales function.
  2. Identify and target new business opportunities.
  3. Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients while actively identifying opportunities for growth within current accounts.
  4. Complete all order processing accurately and in accordance with the required timescales.
  5. Support the Commercial Manager with new and existing opportunities.
  6. Work closely with internal teams, including logistics and planning, to ensure timely delivery and high customer satisfaction.
  7. Visit key stakeholders to increase value, quality and ensure that relationships are maintained.
  8. Investigate discrepancies and produce relevant reports when required.
  9. Carry out any other duties as directed by the Commercial Manager.

The Ideal Person:

  • Experience in sales, preferably within the food, meat, or FMCG industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or construction industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of meat products and the foodservice industry is a plus.
