About the Role:

Associate Director, Commercial Readiness

The Team:

The MI Education function is a vital part of the Revenue Enablement organization at S&P Global, dedicated to enhancing the capabilities of our global revenue teams. As part of the leadership team, this role will drive strategic initiatives to empower our teams through innovative learning solutions and targeted enablement programs. Responsibilities & Impact:

  • Drive cross-functional collaboration across teams and regions to ensure consistent and high-quality training delivery
  • Collaborate with sales leaders to identify performance gaps and design tailored training programs to address these gaps and boost sales performance
  • Guide and support the development of the Commercial Readiness Index by providing insights and creating appropriate action plans to enhance effectiveness of the Revenue team
  • Utilize analytics and enablement strategies to provide insightful performance data and drive continuous improvement
  • Embrace and implement technology-forward solutions to modernize and innovate training methodologies
  • Apply sales methodology experience to enhance training content and ensure alignment with organizational sales strategies
  • Create and manage enablement programs tailored for a diverse global revenue team, ensuring alignment with regional and cultural needs
  • Support the growth of the Early Careers program, ensuring alignment and consistency in onboarding and everboarding efforts for recent graduates to enhance employee retention and career development
Basic Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communications, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in instructional design & development, with a strong focus on digital learning
  • 2+ years in a leadership role, preferably within a sales-driven environment
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies and the ability to integrate them into training programs
  • Understanding of how AI is transforming the education landscape, including personalized learning, adaptive learning platforms, and the use of AI in educational technology
  • Proficiency in leveraging technology to enhance training delivery and effectiveness
  • Strong sales skills with a track record of driving performance improvements
  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful learning strategies
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize, manage deadlines, and work effectively under pressure
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and learning analytics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with analytics and enablement tools to provide performance insights
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Passion for customer success and a strong desire to create engaging and effective learning experiences
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a multinational corporation with exposure to various global markets
  • Strong understanding of diverse cultural dynamics and the ability to adapt training programs accordingly
  • Experience in developing and managing global enablement programs for revenue teams
  • Proficiency in learning technologies and authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, WellSaid)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects and initiatives
  • Experience with agile methodologies
  • Experience with customer relationship management platforms
