Job summary

Clear Legal & Financial Recruitment is recruiting for a seasoned Commercial Property Solicitor to lead and support a growing Bristol-based team. You will manage a varied commercial property caseload, oversee day-to-day operations and deliver top-tier client service while helping develop the wider department.

Ideal candidates will have a strong track record in commercial property transactions, supervision experience, and the ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor or equivalent with current practising certificate.
• Proven experience managing a commercial property caseload.
• Experience supervising colleagues in a legal environment.
• Strong knowledge of commercial property transactions and compliance.
• Excellent drafting and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied commercial property caseload with deadlines.
• Provide legal advice and oversee transaction documentation.
• Lead day-to-day operations, allocate workloads, monitor performance.
• Supervise and develop team members through guidance and feedback.
• Maintain relationships with clients, lenders and other stakeholders.
• Ensure AML, risk assessments, file reviews and procedures are followed.
• Monitor file progression and departmental targets within CMS.
• Foster communication and continuous improvement within the team.
