Opportunity for an Experienced Property Solicitor

Terrific opportunity for an experienced property solicitor to join this highly regarded South Lakeland practice and to head up an established property department. This role is available due to growth within the practice, offering scope to make a significant impact as the team expands over the coming years.

About the Firm

The firm has several offices across the region and handles niche and complex work, including transactions in land law (easements, forestry, agricultural, and commercial property matters such as business leases, overage, sales, and purchases). While there is some high-end residential work, approximately 90% of this role focuses on commercial property.

Role Details

No following is required, as the department receives ample work from local estate agents, regional businesses, and recommendations. They are in a position to select work due to high volume and excellent reputation.

The successful candidate will oversee a team of six, including legal assistants and secretarial support. There are plans to grow the team further by adding two solicitors over the next 12-24 months, with your role being pivotal to this expansion.
