Job summary

NPA Recruit is assisting a highly regarded legal practice in Sheffield to recruit a Commercial Property Solicitor. The role offers a base salary of £40K–£60K DOE and is based on-site in Sheffield, with a culture focused on long-term growth and professional development.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' PQE and possess solid experience in commercial property transactions, including leases, sales, and due diligence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' PQE as a solicitor.
• Experience in commercial property transactions.
• Knowledge of landlord and tenant matters.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with all aspects of commercial property transactions, including sales, purchases, leases and developments.
• Perform thorough due diligence on commercial properties, including title checks, planning permissions and environmental reports.
• Create and negotiate contracts and leases related to commercial property transactions.
• Provide guidance on landlord and tenant issues, including renewals, rent revisions and dilapidations.
• Resolve disputes related to commercial properties, including boundary issues and contract breaches.
• Collaborate with clients, solicitors, government entities and other professionals involved in property deals.
• Stay informed about developments in property law and regulations affecting commercial properties.
• Efficiently manage a caseload with attention to detail and precision.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations and court proceedings when required.
• Ensure adherence to anti-money laundering regulations and other obligations in property transactions.
