Job summary

VNI Legal seeks a Commercial Property solicitor to join its team in Glasgow or Edinburgh with hybrid working on offer. You will support Partners in the Commercial Property division and handle a range of property matters from day one.

The role offers early responsibility and exposure to Scotland's leading property work, backed by a strong salary and clear progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a Real Estate team.
• Genuine interest in Commercial Property and a desire to specialise in this area of practice.
• Ability and willingness to take responsibility.
• Good commercial awareness.
• Ability to plan and organise efficiently.
• Client focused.

Responsibilities

• Manage workload competently, professionally and cost effectively to satisfy clients and firm objectives.
• Be proactive in financial control of own matters, including accurate time recording and prompt feeing.
• Examine title and report to clients.
• Negotiate with other solicitors and revise leases for tenants or landlords.
• Research and prepare opinions on commercial property issues.
• Assist with development of commercial property styles and templates.
• Contribute to work of other members of the Commercial Property division.
• Support team/division marketing initiatives, events and seminar programme.

VNI Legal are delighted to be working again with one of our long standing clients are are looking to recruit an experienced Commercial Property solicitor to their team. You can be based from their office in either Glasgow or Edinburgh with hybrid working on offer.

This is a chance to support and assist Partners within the Commercial Property division to provide and excellent legal service to clients.

Key Tasks

• Manage your workload competently, professionally, and cost effectively to achieve client satisfaction and firm objectives.
• Be pro-active in the financial control of all your own matters as the fee-earner, including accurate time recording and prompt feeing.
• Examine title and report to clients.
• Negotiate with other solicitors and revise leases for either tenants or landlords.
• Research and prepare opinions on commercial property issues.
• Assist with development of commercial property styles and templates.
• Contribute constructively to the work of other members of the Commercial Property division.
• Support your team/division marketing initiatives, events and seminar programme.

Qualifications and Experience
