Commercial Property Solicitor - 2+ PQE

Derby | £40,000 to £75,000

The Firm

My client is a well-established Legal 500 practice with a strong presence in the East Midlands. Known for their collaborative ethos and commitment to client care, they offer a modern, forward-thinking approach to legal services. Their Commercial Property team is growing and handles a wide range of work for clients including developers, investors, landlords, tenants, and commercial occupiers.

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a varied and high-quality caseload that will keep you challenged and engaged. You'll work alongside experienced colleagues and contribute to major transactions, supporting clients across a broad spectrum of commercial property matters.

1. Manage freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals
2. Draft and negotiate commercial leases, including renewals and terminations
3. Advise on development site acquisitions and disposals
4. Handle landlord and tenant matters with confidence
5. Support clients with secured lending and property finance transactions
6. Provide property-related advice as part of corporate transactions

You’ll be an enthusiastic and commercially aware solicitor who enjoys working directly with clients and contributing to team success.

1. Qualified Solicitor with ideally 1–4 years’ PQE in commercial property
2. Strong technical knowledge of property law and transactional work
3. Confident managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision
4. Great communicator with a client-focused approach
5. Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
