2i Recruit Ltd is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Paralegal in Guildford to support the Commercial Property team with fee earners and clients, delivering high-quality service. The role suits a proactive, organised candidate looking to build experience in property law.

You will assist with transactions, prepare documents and correspondence, manage files from opening to post-completion, liaise with clients and third parties, and help with due diligence and Land Registry submissions in a

Qualifications

• Law Degree (LLB) or equivalent legal qualification is essential.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Confident communicator with a client-focused approach.
• Good IT skills and ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Proactive, reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to handle multiple matters and prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supporting fee earners with a wide range of commercial property transactions and matters
• Preparing correspondence, reports and legal documents, including leases, licences, completion documents and digital dictation
• Managing client files from opening through to completion and post-completion processes
• Liaising with clients, tenants, landlords, lenders, surveyors and other third parties in a professional manner
• Assisting with acquisitions, disposals, lease grants, lease renewals and refinancing transactions
• Conducting property searches, reviewing title documents and assisting with due diligence exercises
• Preparing and submitting Land Registry applications and supporting completion formalities
• Using the case management system and maintaining high document and file management standards
• Supporting wider administrative and departmental activities as required
