Job description

Commercial Property Lawyer | 1 - 5 PQE | £40k - £50k | Plymouth | Hybrid Working

A leading Plymouth-based Legal 500 firm is looking for a confident and proactive Solicitor or CILEx Lawyer to join their busy Commercial Property team. You will handle your own caseload independently, with exposure to a broad range of commercial property matters—including secured lending, leases, landlord and tenant work, sales and purchases of commercial freeholds and businesses, as well as options, easements, and more.

This is a hands-on role where your ability to build strong client relationships will be highly valued. You will be part of a collaborative and well-respected team, where helping colleagues and sharing knowledge is integral to the culture.

You will join a firm with over 250 years of history, yet one that embraces a modern approach. Located near the sea and close to central Plymouth amenities, the firm offers a great balance of high-quality legal work and a people-first environment.

Benefits include generous holidays (25 days + bank holidays + extended Christmas break), hybrid working, 35-hour weeks, wellbeing perks such as mental health first aiders, death in service cover, flu jabs, and unlimited tea and coffee. Additional benefits include a company pension, regular team socials, and support for ongoing training and development—whether through internal progression or further qualifications.
