Service Care Legal is partnering with a highly regarded, long-established law firm in Essex, known for its quality service, collaborative culture, and strong client relationships. The firm is seeking a Commercial Property Solicitor (NQ–3 years PQE) to join its busy property department. The team is friendly, approachable, and committed to development and progression.

Role: Commercial Property Solicitor

Location: Chelmsford, Essex

Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 DOE and interview performance

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified to mid-level solicitor passionate about commercial property law. You will work closely with senior solicitors and partners on a varied caseload including:

  1. Freehold and leasehold sales and acquisitions
  2. Drafting and negotiating commercial leases, licences, and related agreements
  3. Development work including site acquisitions and disposals
  4. Landlord and tenant matters
  5. Supporting high-value or complex commercial transactions
  6. Advising SMEs, investors, and developers
About You

You will be a qualified solicitor in England & Wales with NQ to 3 years PQE, with:

  • Strong grounding in commercial property law from a recognised private practice
  • A client-focused, commercially aware approach
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills
  • Excellent organisational and communication abilities
  • The ability to work independently and in a team
