Experiencing sustained expansion across their commercial property practice, they are seeking an ambitious Qualified Solicitor with 4+ years’ PQE to lead complex transactional caseloads, nurture key client accounts, and step into a high-visibility leadership pathway.
In this pivotal fee-earning role, Commercial Property sits at the very heart of the firm’s overarching growth strategy. Working alongside specialist teams across Corporate, Employment, and Dispute Resolution, you will deliver integrated, commercially focused solutions to an established client base. You will take lead responsibility for complex real estate transactions—spanning commercial developments, portfolio asset management, real estate finance, and corporate support—while playing an active role in business development and team mentoring.
Qualifications & Experience: Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 4+ years’ PQE in Commercial Property gained within a reputable UK private practice.
Transactional Real Estate Expertise: Proven track record managing complex, high-value commercial property matters independently, including commercial acquisitions and disposals, development agreements, real estate finance/secured lending, and large‑scale portfolio management.
Landlord & Tenant Mastery: Comprehensive experience drafting and negotiating commercial leases, renewals, surrender agreements, licenses, and handling general asset management instructions.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Demonstrable skill supporting corporate M&A transactions on real estate elements, business asset sales/purchases, and corporate restructuring.
Client Engagement & Mentoring: Exceptional client‑facing skills with a proactive approach to business development, networking, and building long‑term relationships with developers, investors, and lenders. Experience supervising junior fee earners is highly desirable.
