Job description

Service Care Legal are working in partnership with a highly regarded, long-established law firm in Essex, known for its quality of service, collaborative working culture, and long-standing commercial client relationships. This respected regional firm is now seeking a Commercial Property Solicitor (NQ–3 years PQE) to join its growing and busy property department. The team is friendly, approachable, and fully committed to ongoing development and progression.

ROLE: Commercial Property Solicitor
LOCATION: Chelmsford, Essex
SALARY: £40,000 to £50,000 DOE and interview performance

The Role

This is an outstanding opportunity for a recently qualified to mid-level solicitor with a passion for commercial property law. You will work closely with senior solicitors and partners on a varied caseload that includes:
  • Freehold and leasehold sales and acquisitions
  • Drafting and negotiating commercial leases, licences, and related agreements
  • Development work including site acquisitions and disposals
  • Landlord and tenant matters
  • Supporting on high-value or complex commercial transactions
  • Providing advice to SMEs, investors, and developers

About You

  • You will be a qualified solicitor in England & Wales with between NQ to 3 years PQE
  • Strong grounding in commercial property law from a recognised private practice firm
  • A client-focused, commercially aware approach
  • Strong technical drafting and negotiation skills
  • Excellent organisational and communication abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
