The Role

The team advises a wide range of clients, including sector-leading businesses, public and private organisations and individuals.

You will manage client relationships effectively and mentor junior team members. Business development will be a key aspect of this role, with the opportunity to play a pivotal part in the firm’s growth.

The firm offers a clear and structured career progression path, with the potential to progress into a Senior Associate or Legal Director role through its Talent Management Framework.

Responsibilities:

  • Conditional and unconditional acquisitions and disposals
  • Portfolio acquisitions, disposals and management
  • Secured lending transactions for lenders and borrowers
  • Acting for landlords and tenants in lease negotiations, surrenders, agreements for lease and management matters
  • Supporting corporate transactions, including share and asset sales and purchases
  • Contributing to business development and practice marketing initiatives

About You

  • The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ PQE, having gained experience in a well-regarded law firm
  • Possess a strong understanding of commercial property law, with the ability to offer practical, commercial, and strategic advice tailored to the needs of clients, including high net worth individuals and corporate clients

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ PQE in commercial property law
  • Experience in commercial landlord and tenant matters
  • Experience acting for both banks and borrowers in secured lending transactions
  • Familiarity with property aspects of corporate transactions
  • Strong academic background
  • A keen eye for detail, ensuring high-quality work is produced
  • Flexible, client-focused approach
  • Interest in business development
