Commercial Project Manager/Project Controller

Position Overview

In this role, you'll be engaged in diverse activities, handling new projects, collaborating with teams, and facing unique challenges daily. Your focus will be on ensuring the commercial success of Grid Technology Service projects across the UK, providing essential commercial support, and aiding informed decision-making under the guidance of our Commercial lead.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor project costs, produce forecasts, and assess costs at completion.
  • Lead project change processes effectively.
  • Support bid management to ensure compliant and competitive bids.
  • Engage with customers to understand expectations and ensure project alignment.
  • Prepare commercial documentation and manage project data accuracy.
  • Handle invoicing and optimize cash flow.
  • Manage financial guarantees, bonds, and project securities.
  • Assist in risk and opportunity assessments and manage contractual notifications.
  • Proactively manage contract administration and customer expectations.
Qualifications
  • CIMA qualification or equivalent with strong financial control knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and intercultural skills.
  • Strong understanding of commercial management.
  • Proficiency in Excel and SAP systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholder relationships.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership.
