Astute’s Nuclear team is proud to be working with a leading specialist in logistics and engineering, supporting major infrastructure and energy projects across the UK. We're looking to recruit a Commercial Project Controller to join their growing team at their Portishead site.

The Commercial Project Controller role comes with a salary between �30,000 - �40,000 as well as hybrid working arrangements and a great package.

Responsibilities and duties of the Commercial Project Controller role

Reporting to the Head of Contracts you will:

* Update and maintain CRM records with project and commercial leads, and liaise with clients for tender updates.
* Analyse CRM data to track tender conversion rates and identify improvements with senior team members.
* Use CRM insights to support sales planning, generate reports, and help identify resource or revenue gaps.
* Coordinate bid responses, assist with pricing, review RFQs, and prepare bid documents.
* Ensure commercial processes meet group standards and support internal audits.
* Join monthly P&L and cashflow meetings and provide key commercial input.
* Collect marketing ideas and work with the Marketing team to action them.
* Carry out general commercial and project admin tasks as needed.
* Support invoicing, AfPs, VOs, and share cost updates with finance and CRM teams.

Professional and Personal skills

The Commercial Project Controller role would suit someone who has:

* A full, clean UK driving licence
* Experience supporting commercial functions across major projects or programmes.
* Background in project or construction administration.
* Familiarity with contract, finance, or CRM systems (e.g. Sage, CEMAR).
* Ability to produce scheme estimates and perform construction cost analysis.

* Willingness to travel occasionally to other offices and project sites to support the Project Delivery Team, attend company meetings, and assist Project Managers.
