Commercial Program Manager

Overview

Our team sits at the heart of Microsoft’s AI & High Performance Computing (HPC) business – shaping and delivering the next generation of supercomputing. As a Commercial Program Manager with a focus on program finance management, you will help develop, operate, and maintain services supporting the evolving needs of one of our largest and most significant customers. The uniqueness and complexity of this program require a Commercial Program Manager with keen financial acumen to lead in delivering excellent financial control, processing, and reporting both internally and with customers, as needed. You will also be responsible for maintaining appropriate consumption forecasting and models.

Responsibilities

1. Identify customer needs and develop innovative plans and processes to efficiently execute solutions and projects. Evaluate the impact of customer strategies on program alignment.
2. Ensure financial reports are accurate and timely to support business decisions.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams of architects, engineers, and support staff to relay customer goals, evaluate solutions, and establish service adoption cadence.
4. Deliver insightful analytics through dashboards and tools (Business Applications and Copilots).
5. Advocate for and optimize Microsoft solutions aligned with evolving customer platforms and goals. Develop solutions that meet customer needs, understanding their industry, business goals, and technical context.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Experience in program management, digital content publishing/management, or a writing/editing role.
• OR equivalent experience.

Other Qualifications

• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including passing the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire and every two years.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and experience in program management, digital content publishing/management, or related roles.
• OR experience in writing or editing roles.
• Formal Program/Project Management certification.
• Technology industry experience is preferred.
• Strong presentation skills across diverse audiences.
• Deep understanding of customer needs and advocacy skills.
