Job Description

We are seeking Commercial and Procurement Managers to work within the UK Defence Sector as part of our growing Defence Team.

As a Commercial / Procurement Manager at Turner & Townsend, you will work directly with our Defence Clients supporting them in delivering outcomes across the end-to-end commercial lifecycle.

The role includes functions such as Procurement and Commercial Strategy, End-to-End Contract Management, Risk and Performance Management, Negotiation and Continuous Improvement, Governance and Compliance, Business Analysis and Problem Solving, Supplier Relationship and Category Management.

About you: As a candidate for this role, you should have commercial/procurement experience and want to be part of a high-functioning team focused on delivering world-class outcomes to our Defence clients.

Required Experience and Skills: Applied knowledge of procurement principles and practices, experience with procurement, contract management, and/or contract placement, ability to identify and manage risk, understanding of programme, portfolio, and project management tools, and a background in Government Procurement processes.

Qualifications

A professional qualification in Business, Procurement/Supply Chain Management, Law, Project Management or a similar relevant discipline is required.

Working in teams/site attendance: We offer hybrid working, enabling employees to balance their working life with other priorities, with an expectation of being on client sites or offices 60% of the time.

Security Clearance

Due to the sensitive nature of these projects, you must be a SOLE UK National able to achieve and maintain UK MoD Security Clearance (SC).
