Commercial Procurement Manager

Our client, a global organisation, is urgently seeking an experienced Commercial Procurement Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

To be successful, you should have:

• Extensive commercial experience within large transformation programmes, particularly in the Defence sector
• Strong skills in negotiating contracts, developing strategies, forming industry partnerships, and creating commercial packages
• Experience in high-value commercial procurement, either for products or services
• SC Clearance

Responsibilities include:

• Drafting procurement and commercial strategies, including developing credible options to support client decision-making, covering structures, lotting, payment, pricing, incentivisation, market approaches, and evaluation strategies
• Supporting the creation of key procurement documents such as PQQs, ITN/ITPD, Heads of Terms, and Contracts
• Conducting analysis to provide insights and support solution development and change
• Participating in negotiations between Defence/Public Sector and suppliers
• Developing contract management models to help clients realize value from their arrangements
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams involved in solution design, transformation, and business cases
• Building strong relationships with clients and third parties, including HMG suppliers
• Liaising with internal teams like Digital Strategy, Innovation, Cyber Security, and Data Analytics to ensure seamless service delivery
• Continuously developing personal skills and sharing knowledge with colleagues
