Are you a Commercial Pricing Manager seeking your next challenge in London?
My client has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Commercial Pricing Manager to join their Client Solutions Team on a permanent basis.
Working hybrid, in Wimbledon & London 2 days a week, the successful applicant will ideally come from an FM background within both hard and soft services.
Duties
- Manage large portfolios of tender opportunities (£2m – £10m), reporting to the Client Solutions Director, UK & Europe.
- Ensure high-quality commercial solutions at tender and PQQ stages, complying with bid processes and procedures.
- Lead tender pricing, liaising with the Head of Procurement to maximize subcontract benefits.
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to produce compliant and competitive tender submissions.
- Follow estimating processes to deliver accurate submissions post-tender.
- Support pricing of all tender enquiries, using traditional and innovative methods to maximize winning potential.
- Prepare competitive tender offers according to industry standards and client requirements.
- Complete Form of Tender and cost analyses as needed.
- Ensure timely submission of pricing proposals for review.
- Maintain quality assurance of proposals to meet standards.
Pricing Strategy
- Review and improve pricing models for efficiency and innovation.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and relevant tools.
- Follow bid management protocols, engaging with colleagues and external partners.
- Visit sites to verify asset information for tenders.
- Develop win themes with stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate risks in tender information.
- Analyze tender returns and improve bid activities continually.
- Collaborate with Strategic Sourcing to optimize partnerships and procurement.
Requirements
- Experience in pricing and estimating hard FM contracts, especially mechanical and electrical maintenance.
- Soft services knowledge is a plus but not essential.
- Familiarity with SFG20, labor loading, and asset verification.
- At least 5 years’ experience in hard FM or similar.
- Engineering or mechanical/electrical background with willingness to travel for site visits and client meetings.
