Commercial PPA Manager (m/f/d) – Renewable Energy
Location: Hamburg / Munich area (50% remote)
Type: Permanent
We are supporting a major independent renewable energy producer in their search for a Commercial PPA Manager to join their growing energy trading and revenue optimisation team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a pivotal role in structuring, negotiating, and implementing power purchase agreements (PPAs) across Europe — contributing directly to the commercial success of a multi-GW renewable energy portfolio.
About the Company
The company is an established IPP with a presence in multiple European markets and a long-term ambition to accelerate the energy transition. With over 4 GW in operation and ambitious growth plans, they offer a dynamic and forward-thinking working environment.
Your Responsibilities
  • Structure, negotiate and manage corporate and utility-scale PPAs across Europe
  • Develop commercial models and support financial forecasting of revenue streams
  • Lead contract execution and onboarding of new offtakers
  • Collaborate with internal legal, finance, and project development teams
  • Provide market analysis and contribute to origination strategy
  • Ensure commercial compliance with internal risk frameworks and external regulations
Your Profile
  • Solid experience in PPA negotiation and energy commercialisation
  • Strong understanding of wholesale electricity markets and contract structures
  • Previous work with utilities, corporates, or energy traders
  • Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in cross-functional and international teams
  • Fluent in English; other European languages, especially German, are a plus
