Job Summary

A Central London Office Developer is seeking a Commercial Portfolio Manager to join their growing team. You will manage a portfolio of Trophy assets with the aim of providing high quality, effective, and efficient services to their occupiers. The role will oversee and manage the operation of services, occupier satisfaction, and security of the portfolio to a high standard. Strong collaboration with internal technical and facilities management specialists, as well as advisors and other departments such as Asset Management, Finance, Development, Leasing, and Investment, is essential.

You will work alongside the Development team to ensure new developments and refurbishments benefit from early property management input. You will also collaborate on contract management, project works, and tenant fit-outs with external consultants as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Tenant liaison, property inspections, managing site managers, and resolving day-to-day issues in collaboration with operational support teams.
  • Review existing leases, ensure compliance, and maintain accurate databases.
  • Review and amend lease clauses for new lettings.
  • Manage service charge budgets and reconciliations with property management accounts.
  • Liaise with finance to ensure timely rent and service charge collection, following up with occupiers as necessary.
  • Review and process tenant applications, including licenses to alter, wayleaves, and alienation.
  • Oversee insurance responsibilities, including claims, works notifications, and premium charges.

About You:

  • 3-5 years of commercial property management experience, ideally in the office sector.
  • MRICS qualification is preferred but not essential.
  • Experience with compiling and reconciling service charge budgets.
  • High attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.

This role offers an opportunity to expand your knowledge and take responsibility for all aspects of Portfolio Management, including projects from design onwards. It is a broad, autonomous role working collaboratively across the business.
