Position:Full-Time Commercial Plumbing Engineer
Pipeline Plumbing Solutions Ltd is a fast-growing commercial plumbing installation company based in Sandhurst, Berkshire.
We undertake commercial plumbing and public health installations across a wide range of projects, including schools, offices, industrial units, commercial refurbishments and similar properties. Our projects are spread across London, Surrey, Berkshire, Hertfordshire and the surrounding areas, so applicants must be comfortable travelling to different sites.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to add experienced Commercial Plumbing Engineers to our team.
We are looking for experienced plumbers who have proven experience working within commercial plumbing installations and refurbishments.
This is not an improver or plumber’s mate position. We need engineers who are experienced, confident in their ability and capable of joining the team and hitting the ground running.
Typical works will include:
Our engineers are expected to be relatively self-sufficient on site. We often work in pairs and, once familiar with the company and our standards, expect those pairs to take responsibility for managing the day‑to‑day requirements of their own projects.
This includes staying on top of material requirements, planning work efficiently, communicating with site managers, resolving minor site issues and keeping projects moving without requiring constant supervision.
As you will regularly be working directly with our clients and other contractors, you must be presentable, professional and comfortable communicating directly with site managers and clients.
The standard of workmanship is extremely important to us. Installations must be neat, tidy, well thought out and completed in accordance with all relevant regulations, manufacturers’ requirements and good industry practice.
The successful applicant should:
Living reasonably local to Sandhurst, Berkshire would be preferable due to the location of the business and the geographical spread of our projects.
Applicants will initially be expected to have their own suitable transport.
There is potential for a company van to be provided in the future once we are confident that the individual is the right fit for the business and intends to remain with the company long term.
We’re looking for someone who can become a reliable part of the team rather than somebody who needs to be continually managed.
You should be comfortable being given a project, drawings and scope of works and taking responsibility for completing your element of the installation to a high standard.
